Earlier today I posted that I did not understand the purpose of the
departments of Education or Energy.

En-light- enment came a little while ago on page 2 of the weekend WSJ. All
about the banishment of incandescent bulbs. Our energy Secretary Stephen
Chu said "We are taking away a choice that continues to let people waste
their own money."

Ok sport, I have used the curly fluorescent bulbs for years and they work
very well. Hell, Duke Energy gives them away. But, at my desk I need real
light and run 4 - 100 watt clear bulbs. I like light and prefer them. Who
TF is Chu to tell me what I like or not?

Now that I think about it, what happened to those 500w halogen bulbs?

Anyway, WSJ thanks for informing me about MY need for the Department of
Energy.
