I need to change the name of the User's Folders.
When I mounted XP Home, I put in my name:
Charles Enzer
XP then called the User [Charles Enzer] and in [Documents and Settings]:
The %UserProfile% was [Charles.Enzer]
I then created another account, [XYZ].
I moved all the folders from [Charles Enzer] to [XYZ] and deleted the
User [Charles Enzer].
I renames the [XYZ] user to [Charles] and rebooted.
XP then called the User [Charles.MyComputer] and created
%UserProfile% = [Documents and Settings/Charles.MyComputer].
How do I change the User from [Charles.MyComputer] to [Charles] and
the profiles from [Documents and Settings/Charles.MyComputer] to
[Documents and Settings/Charles]?
Similarly, in SafeMode User [Administrator] has a user profile of
[Administrator.TOSHIBA-USER]
Note: [User Accounts] won't let me do this.
Similarly, [Administrator] has become [Administrator.MyComputer] and
%UserProfile% = [Documents and Settings/Administrator.TOSHIBA-USER].
