Where (how) in Windows XP Pro do I control what is running and what is not?
I suspect that StarOffice and OpenOffice.org use really similar
dialogs. In OO.o, open any document (or create a new one) to get the
GUI and select Tools|Options, OpenOffice.org, Memory and uncheck the
box that says "Load OpenOffice.org during system start-up."
