I agree. Avery has a bunch of different sizes that fit most
applications, and VFP even has a wizard to generate label formats for
some of them. Once you get into the custom formatting stuff, it can be a
pandora's box which easily leads to the thinking that the user should be
able to just do it him/herself - which in turn leads to training and
support. In a lot of cases I'd think it more effective to just given
them standard choices.
