I have a friend who runs a web site that is a place to post motorcycle
events in the Atlanta area to help riders find events in the Atlanta area.
I suggested that he add a map to the web site to help show where the
events, and sponsors, and dealers are. As it turns out, this is a huge
pain because for each event to be added, it has to convert the address
to latitude and longitude, plus the url to the picture, plus the url to
the web site, and on and on. What's worse is that past events must be
manually removed. He's tried vbgooglemap from stonyarc.com and frappr.com.

This is a lot of work for him, in a not-for-profit venture. Does anyone
know of a program that would help administer this? Any ideas I could
pass along?
