I for one certainly look forward to replacing my perfectly good, albeit somewhat older, M$ Office Suites on each employee's PC every few years, whether the current app is working perfectly well or not. And I equally enjoy seeing what the new version breaks as part of the upgraded installation process. Not to mention replacing my hardware with newer stuff needed to run to latest M$ Bloat Offerings. Why, without Software Assurance I could have never been any more profitable than I already was.
Yeah, right... I was so confused by folks telling how they moved to Software Assurance to save money, when all I saw it do was line M$' coffers, that I thought I was missing something really big. I never did "get it". "The bigger the lie, the more the people want to believe it." heh-heh... I suppose for the rare cross-section of corporate USA the SA program was worth while. But for the kinds of businesses I cater to it was a prolific waste of money, and hardly anyone noticed the big sucking sound as their pockets were picked clean. Amazing...
