Just reading about it now, and http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/13611379/
says 
"Delaware River communities could be hit by one of the worst floods in
history"  which isn't very encouraging, but folks here seem to be taking
it in stride.

Homes that are elevated had no problems at all, but those on or near the
river took the brunt of it. We're "slightly elevated" here (about a
hundred yards or so inland from the river) - at least just enough to
have that precious 6" that made so much difference. 

Guess now that I'm basically back in the house, and it's not raining,
I'll take a walk down by the "flatlands" near the river, which took the
brunt of it, and see if there's anything that needs to be done. Mostly I
think it's just pumping and clearing debris.
