I am also pleased to announce:

That one was tough. The Aztecs kept us all (Argentines) with our
hearts in our mouths. But we were able to resist all 120 minutes.
I have to give the Mexican team a lot of credit. They played
Argentina evenly for most of the match, and that is no small feat.
And Maxi's goal was superb.
The US TV station had just done a 'Top 10 goals of the First Round'
segment before the game, and #1 was Joe Cole's goal from a volley
that was very similar to Maxi's. I think that Maxi's goal, given that
it was in OT, now moves up to the #1 goal of the tournament.
The real test, though, is next Friday. Shall I be able to post
Argentina won, Germany lost or will it be the other way around?
The Germans are dangerous, we know that.
Do the words "home field advantage" mean anything to you?
Germany is peaking, and have a lot of momentum. If you can beat them
in this match on their home turf, Brazil will seem like a walk in the
park.
My current picks:
1) Brazil
2) Argentina
3) Italy
Remember that I'm married to an Italian! ;-)
