How does someone go from starting a business to becoming the richest man
in the world in 30 years by being a bad manager?
2 Main contributing factors:
- Jumping into an emerging technology area
- Having little or no ethics
Since it was an emerging technology area, laws, people's knowledge,
"watch-dogs", etc were not available. Therefore, lacking ethics became a
"strength" - those willing to lie, cheat, steal the most made the most gains.
