It does look interesting but from what I could gather without jumping
through all of the hoops, cost prohibitive: $1495 for the Linux
version. Why would I have to log into their forums just to see the dang price?

As a side pet peeve of mine, they make it very difficult to get the
price of their various products unless you begin their purchasing
process. This always makes me nervous. Shouldn't the prices be
clear and readily available?
