Reports that shooter is a Republican
Unconfirmed reports suggest that the accused shooter, Vance Boelter,
is/was a Republican, despite being appointed to a Minn. Development
Board by a Democratic Governor. Because this is a bipartisan board, it
is not uncommon for Governors of either party to appoint members of
the other party, especially when the legislature is closely divided. -L
