Apologies for the delay here all. Our original plan was to make improving the asyncio reactor a major feature of 3.30.0 but that proved to be a bit more complicated than we'd like. 3.30.0 just went out the door a few days ago and it's my intention to make fixing asyncio a major focus of the next release (likely 3.31.0). The set of changes in this PR will likely serve as a foundation for that effort... although I'm still trying to get my arms around exactly what 3.31.0 will look like. @fruch we'll almost certainly be talking soon ;) -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
