I have had this experience multiple times on Mac mini machines. For me
it seemed to be completely machine dependent meaning two 1.25 GHz
machines and one would have this problem and one would not. It only
seemed to be under heavy network load as well. I have six Mac mini G4
machines right now running OpenBSD and 2 or 3 of them sometimes have
the issue. Once way around it is to use a USB Ethernet adapter but I
would much rather find out what the issue is. If there is anything I
can do to troubleshoot this I would be more than happy to help.
