That's great.
I'll release this code first in Postfix 3.7. After that we can discuss if it makes sense to merge this change back into earlier stable Postfix versions.
It won't affect my builds as CentOS 7 has pcre2 libraries available, but I don't see a particular reason to backport the support either, it seems to me it would be a waste of energy that could potentially result in breakage of a stable release when there's really no reason why existing stable releases can't continue to just support pcre(1).
