My google skills only showed this error relating to local filter scripts, etc.

If the remote end were down, or blocking me, I believe all I should
see is Connection Refused or similar.  A Permission denied would
usually point to a local firewall, I was able to connect to port 25 of
the above address with telnet, so that should eliminate the firewall,
and the system is working fine otherwise.

What does this error mean?  I get it for 3 domains, one of them being
ASPMX3.GOOGLEMAIL.com, which I could also reach with telnet.
