I still am having a problem getting 'sender_dependent_relaying" to work.
This is a snippet of the sender_relay file:
gmail.com smtp:smtp.gmail.com:587
yahoo.com smtp:smtp.plus.mail.yahoo.com:587
Running postmap -q gmail.com sender_relay produces:
smtp:smtp.gmail.com:587
However, postfix never seems to use any of the relays in the file.
