in fact, I am able to start the game, but when I start a campaign, the game
reports an error:

"can't open ream prefs file '/data/games/postal/res/levels/Postal Plus
realms.ini'

the file in named "postal_plus_realms.ini' renaming it to "Postal Plus
realms.ini" fixed the game and I was able to play.
