Hmm? I didn't suggest he set MAINTAINER to ports@ (which is done automatically if there is no MAINTAINER), I asked if he wanted to *be* MAINTAINER, seeing as how he was submitting the port in the first place. I generally always ask that if I see a new port missing the line, because sometimes people forget it.
