Hi, here's a wip port for GRASS, a full blown GIS alternative to geo/qgis, and qgis can reuse/call GRASS modules. It provides a wxPython GUI (cf https://grasswiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Quick_wxGUI_tutorial) but can also be used in cli mode. I think it only works with python2 so far, and since it uses wxPython which is old/python2 only...
Portingwise, it insists on installing itself to ${PREFIX}/grass and have
all its stuff under this dir (docs, libs, sample data, configuration,
headers...) - that's a bit gross, but it works this way and would
require lots of patching to redispatch the files in their regular
locations. Can of course be revisited...
Comment on the port welcome, i doubt anyone else than me will ever need
this anyway.
