The "newwantlib" patch is in, as are quite a few tidbits in pkg_add, dpb, bsd.port.mk.
If you run into problems with dpb, please make certain you are uptodate, both in ports, and for pkg_add. There are still buglets to fix, but the recent infrastructure work will lead to yet more minor improvements over the coming days (and possibly some major improvements, maybe)
