FreeMat 4.0 is almost a year old now. Has anybody tried to bump up the port from 3.6 to 4.0? I tried manually editing Makefile and compiling 4.0 on the snapshot from 22nd of August (i386) but the patches do not apply cleanly and the compilation fails. My main motivation for using FreeMat 4.0 is better compatibility with MathLab m-code.
