Hmm. If these can be built independently maybe the best way is separated with a layout like this; /usr/ports/databases/monetdb /usr/ports/databases/monetdb/monetdb /usr/ports/databases/monetdb/monetdb-sql /usr/ports/databases/monetdb/monetdb-xquery ... you could look at net/ldns as an example of the sort of thing you'd probably want for this.
