No expert here, but I don't think that you want to add the heights. Neither screen is that tall. So I would suggest start with 2624x1200. Then set the smaller screen to the left/right of the larger one.

I'm not sure what is going to happen to the height of the smaller
screen.

Oops, my mistake! I'll fix that and see what happens.
