Wnn has `interesting' issues. More or less unfixable, but the project forked a few years ago (wnn was produced by omiron corp, and the wnn4 version given away, whereas wnn6 is more or less commercial, so there is a freewnn). there is very little activity in wnn-land (nothing over the last 2 years), but the freewnn project is marginally more recent, so I will try to see how it fares on amd64 and friends...
