The sassc gem should no longer be used, and will no longer be receiving
any updates.
The sass-embedded gem is the recommended way to move away from sassc.

That note is 11 months old, our 2.4.0 is the latest version from 2020.
Does anyone still use this port or can it go?
PS: I also noticed that it does not honour MAKE_JOBS and thus takes
much longer to compile a bunch of C++ files.
