Sure, but neither is that firefox's job, nor do symlinks work that way. With 'video -> video0', 'chmod foo video' changes the owner of video0, which matches both video* and video? globs; dealing with video is redundant if you deal with the target already. Just came to mind, either is fine with me, really.
