Greetings, list. I would like to report a bug with the imv port. I started getting this problem like 1-2 months ago.
The problem is that I view a buunch of images on the internet, for example, and randomly my computer crashes - it just freezes.... it starts slowing down very fast, and I did not have time to execute `pkill -9 imv` yet. I think that a similar thing started happening like 2-4 months ago with mpv --vo=gpu option - everything froze except audio, which continued on playing. Using the --vo=xv option everything works perfectly fine, except changing contrast and what-not. By the way, imv started acting very strange lately I think - I use the dwm window manager, and imv for some reason always starts in a floating mode, even though it is specified to not do so in the dwm config file. What is up with that? IDK but none of imv's options changed that. I am for sure that it was a JPG file. This sucks because you have to for example press alt+shift+space every time you want to set the window the default that every other program is at. The computer is an old Thinkpad, OpenBSD 7.6 -current. I will not share a dmesg. -- Anon Loli ######### This mortal strives for omnisciency.
