that's brave, thank you for tackling it :) i have a wip for for geoalchemy (https://geoalchemy-2.readthedocs.io/en/latest/) that i had been testing with sqlalchemy 1.4 so far, will check how it behaves with this update. i'll test buildbot, but i'm pretty confident it will work. Landry
