Quick test of this, working fine on amd64. I can send email (with SASL) via the smtp_url module (hint: 'smtps://' requires ssl wrapped smtp, while 'smtp://' will support STARTTLS). I had to add '--with-sasl' to the CONFIGURE_ARGS though. I have no problems with enabling hcache by default. Why hasn't it been pulled in to mainline mutt? -- You've been leading a dog's life.
