This is a new MySQL database driver for Ruby, developed by GitHub. Unlike other MySQL drivers for Ruby, this one does not require any MySQL client libraries.
Tested on amd64 using an adapter for databases/ruby-sequel. Included patch already merged upstream. OKs to import? Thanks, Jeremy
