Thanks Stuart, I didn't know about checksym :)

Looking at the diff between version I got confused and some (all?) of
the changes I spotted were only in the files that are either internal or
provided only as static library.  The shared libtdjson.so seems to
need only a minor bump

        /usr/local/lib/libtdjson.so.0.1 --> 
/usr/ports/pobj/tdlib-1.7.7/fake-amd64/usr/local/lib/libtdjson.so.0.2
        No dynamic export changes

Updated diff attached; feel free to remove the bump if this addition
"doesn't count".
