once I lock my screen in KDE I'm unable to unlock it with my password. I have to login to another tty and kill kdesktop_lock. This kills the process but KDE goes down with it.
Same here, but I'm using kerberos passwords which KDE cannot deal with.Do you store your passwords in a kerberos, ldap, ... other than in /etc/(master.)password?
