Well I was using a "Second Level Mirror (Stockholm, Sweden)"... next 
time I'll check and not think blindly trust in it to be uptodate :)

And the snapshot sets are up to date there, seems strange that the 
packages ain't.

Yeah I know, I mentioned the package versions a bit earlier in my 
initial mail, thought I'd add the --version info too as extra.
