another google warrior. i am sure everybody takes me for a fool these days becasue of my misc@ post, but that doesn't mean i don't do my homework. did you at least look at the results this returns? i am not talking about the cases where one gets an error. (unknown archive format, tar: Invalid header, starting valid header search.etc) i am talking about cases where all the files are extracted ok, but tar expects something at the end (or doesn't), i don't know. that is why i am asking. -f -- as i said before, i never repeat myself.
