you must upgrade postgres as described in UPDATING, see section 20250506:|

As the default version of postgres was changed, it is pulling in
automatically the client part of postgresql.
Just follow what is described in UPDATING.
As you use postgresql15 you maybe want to check the manuals if you can
directly update it to 17.
