Can somebody of you test the rebuild of pecl-imagick from ports if it helps or not? Maybe another revision bump is required again.
A bit late... I forgot about this. I can report that a rebuild and reinstall of pecl-imgick seems to fix my issue with piwigo (or whatever it tried to do before disabling pecl-imagick it doesn't try to do again now).
