calls.

My hope is to get that all done before we branch stable/15 (currently expected 
in late 2025). If that succeeds I intend to remove the entire ioctl handling 
code from pf for 16.

There is no need for immediate action, but be aware that ports will need to 
migrate to libpfctl before that removal lands.

Tl;dr: this is your 18 month warning on ports breakage for any port that uses 
/dev/pf.
