Hi, I have been investigating different ways of traffic accounting and have looked at pmacct quite a bit, but have not installed it yet. My theory is to install pmacct on a machine with one network interface. It is a Debian Linux machine. I have five virtual machines running on the machine. They access the network through a bridge setup on the Linux machine using eth0. Each VM has a separate ip address. So all traffic from the VMs go across that bridge. I would like to aggregate the traffic for each VM and have a Potgres database running on the network which the data will get sent to for record keeping.
