Hi Guys, I would like to introduce you an initiative of the pmacct project which is starting today; i hope it will be successful and you all will help growing:
The open documentation effort @ http://wiki.pmacct.net/ Documentation is a key part of every project; we feel alongside official documentation (examples, faqs, manuals, etc.) there is room for much more: specific experience, scenarios illustrated, comments, tips and tricks, critics and rants, tutorials, success stories, diagrams, configurations decomposed, translations and indeed whatever a single mind writing pages of documentation can easily overlook. And of course external links to blog entries, articles, web pages, etc related to pmacct. All of this, channeled through a collaborative tool like a wiki and built with collective efforts, is open documentation. This is something i had in mind for a long time now but never managed to find time for it - juicy technical things first i told myself countless times. This is why i need to say thanks a lot to Karl O. Pinc for giving me a kick and let the project achieve this important goal. The wiki will be shortly linked from the pmacct main page. Now, enjoy it! Cheers, Paolo _______________________________________________ pmacct-discussion mailing list http://www.pmacct.net/#mailinglists
