Hi Daniel,
Q5 of the FAQS document briefly outlines some very basic rules of
thumb regarding bufferization, buffer values and how they should
compare. You can have a try with the following values and eventually
scale them downwards/upwards:

plugin_buffer_size: 10240
plugin_pipe_size: 1024000
