Just a quick note -
not that its a major issue, however it could cause a problem if a server was in
major production use.
I changed the system
clock while I had pmacctd running, writing to a pgsql database every 5
minutes. As soon as the next dump to pgsql came along, the box went off
the rails for quite some time..

Eventually I had to
killall -9 pmacctd and the box was back to its normal 0.00 load. If a
developer needs any info about the box, etc just let me know. At a very
quick glance it appeared to use up all the memory and then started to use up the
swap space too.
