Hello guys,
just a news for those of you interested in the topic pmacct & MPLS.
Last weekend Hannes Gredler - one of the actual libpcap development team -
has committed into the libpcap-CVS a juicy piece of code allowing to write
BPF filters that could match labels in the MPLS stack and the overlying
IPv4 network layer (seems like soon it will be also added IPv6 support).
An example: "mpls and mpls 10000 and src net 194.119.200.0/21".

Until today it was only possible to match MPLS labels and stop. To get
rid of this new feature, you will need to download any (daily/weekly/CVS)
build >= 2005.07.09 . However seems like they are willing to release the
new 0.9.2 version in next couple of days.

The MPLS support in BPF filters is capital for pmacct because it allows
to translate one or more MPLS labels into a tag (via Pre-Tagging, filter
directive).

Cheers,
Paolo
