After my minor wobbly over the previous development release, the new 0.2.7.0-dev-1 (which unusually announced itself on the web gui unlike most previous dev releases) has proved to be very stable on my renderers. On the M1 CLiC the pause and restart also seems better (it requires the 'force position on resume).
This version still attempts to show the current volume, which I find most confusing and disconcerting since I ensure all LMS volume commands are ignored and often run with the sound muted (listening on headphones), but I assume philippe knows best! One cause of renderer crashes for me is (and has been ever since it was introduced) setting 'Send ICY metadata' and play a radio stream, so I'll avoid that in future. I have periodically tried again to no avail. So all good. Thanks again for the wonderful work. LMS 7.9 on VortexBox Midi, Xubuntu 14.04, FLACs 16->24 bit, 44.1->192kbps. Squeezelite to Meridian USB Explorer DAC to speakers/phones. Wireless Xubuntu 15.10 laptop with firefox/upplay or Android 'phone with Squeeze-Commander/BubbleUPnP controls LMS/Minimserver.
