it is a lot better than say a couple of months ago, but it has broken up a few times today (radio 2, 4). Radio 3 certainly breaks up too on occasion. I'd guestimate there is a break-up about 10-20 times a day, usually only for a few seconds... It definitely has its moments where it will break up several times, and then be fine for a few hours...
