Since mp3 and m4a don't play and problem with flac it feels like a bad
installation of either Squeezelite and/or LMS. This is compounded by
using your own build of Squeezelite - so you may also have a built
squeezelite without correct options.

I suggest

1. Check that you have installed Squeezelite properly with all the
correct support libraries. If you have built Squeezelite to uyse
dynmaic libraries then make sure you have installed libasound2,
libflac,libmad0, ,libvorbis ,libfaad and libmpg123. If resampling is
needed then also libsoxr.
2. As a test install Triode's standard squeezelite x86 build from here
https://code.google.com/p/squeezelite-downloads/source/browse/
3. Get LMS/Squeezelite to play an internet MP3 stream
4. Perhaps your source file needs transcoding/ resampling so enable
logging using player.source to INFO and see what is happening when LMS
is trying to play a problem file.
