The MIME type usually used with HLS streams are
application/vnd.apple.mpegurl,application/x-mpegurl
This site is using a MIME type ( audio/x-mpegurl ) for normal playlist
and as such LMS is handling as a normal playlist.
In your server directory there is a types.conf file which has the
following line

m3u m3u,m3u8 audio/mpegurl,audio/x-mpegurl playlist
--------------------
You need to
1. Stop LMS
2. remove the ",audio/x-mpegurl " from the types.conf file
3. Add the ",audio/x-mpegurl" to the custom-types.conf file in the
PlayHLS plugins direcotry
4. restart LMS.
This change will be lost when you either reinstall LMS or update the
plugin.
