When streams are played for 10 hrs non stop - it is possible you are
encountering a bug or something in ffmpeg or perhaps a wrong length in
the flac header sent by ffmepg.  If the stream can never play longer
than 10hrs - then it is worth investigating.

Are you starting to playing with the m3u8 URL or an iplayer:// URL ?

The iplayer:// stream may try other formats if the m3u8 fails and that
may not be the best solution in this context.
