Is iPlayer designed to switch between streams if the currently playing stream is interrupted? I have seen the situation where a Radio 2 aac stream stops playing and if I try to play the same station on another device, iPlayer will select the wma stream since the aac stream is not available. The original player however will not find the wma stream unless I select another station then reselect Radio 2. It seems that once a stream has been selected you are locked to it even if it fails.
