I think I would make life simple and get something like this; http://www.amazon.co.uk/Lilliput-UM1010T-Monitor-USB-powered-Screen/dp/B003DPOMAS/ref=pd_sxp_f_pt Connect it to a Intel NUC (silent mini pc) which has dual HDMI outputs, plug one into the amp and just run a Squeezeplay client on it, this would enable device sync and you get all the plugins, benefits and features of LMS.
