Triode will most probably fix the radio this time, but what irritates me most, is that the structure path of an abandoned system like Sqeezebox is now left to its own devices. Triode made a wonderful, sensational step in bringing us the Spotify experience to the Squeezebox. But in the long run, you cannot bet on one person alone, making his job forever.
Regarding this situation, I've always look for alternatives, and yes, they are rare. I am believing, that the path apple-tv - ipad for the HIFI will be the step to take, still knowing, that music over wifi and a battery driven device isn't something I want in my chain and will be hard step backwards.
